From the foothills of Northern California, Ms. Antipa began playing the piano at age five with her father. She holds degrees from the Eastman
School of Music (Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance) and the University of Michigan (Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy).
Her teachers have included Genevieve Baird, Tanya Plescia, Natsuki Fukasawa, Richard Cionco, Dr. Lorna Peters, Rebeca Penneys,
and Dr. Logan Skelton. She has received first place in numerous competitions, and has appeared as a soloist with the Sacramento
State Symphony Orchestra and the Central Valley Youth Symphony.
Her summer studies have included attendance at the Fontainebleau, Chautauqua, and Gijon festivals. In the summer of 2016, Ariadne
had the privilege of touring with Music Inspire Africa. Along with the five other musicians, she gave solo and chamber concerts, as well as
private lessons throughout South Africa and Zimbabwe. The experience profoundly shaped her views on the importance of sharing music in
personal, meaningful ways.
