Mr. Oldet Ibo completed his Bachelors Degree in Piano Performance in his native country of Albania, and he holds a Masters Degree in Piano Performance from Syracuse University. During that time, Mr. Ibo held the position of Teaching Assistant, contributing to the University as a piano instructor and piano accompanist. Mr. Ibo made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2022 to rave reviews! In addition, he has participated in competitions worldwide and concertized as a solo performer internationally, including Albania, Italy, Greece, Macedonia, and Kosovo to name a few. His training has been influenced by Ida-Tili Trebicka, and he has received masterclasses from icons of the piano field, such as Irina Zahharenkova, Heribert Koch, Franco Bruno, Rebecca Penneys, Dolores Gadevsky, Michelle Can, et al. Oldet Ibo’s performance passion lies with the repertoire from the Baroque and Romantic eras. He is an ardent chamber musician and music collaborator. His performances have been enchanting audiences in Tirana and Shkodra, Albania, Tetovo, Macedonia, and Barletta and Siena, Italy! Mr. Ibo is fluent in four languages. After numerous hours of practice he finds repose in reading. Mr. Ibo believes that the 88 keys of the piano are a representation of the universe through which an instructor can help a student navigate and create their own universe - that is the joy of music-making!
