Faculty members William Perry, Ariadne Antipa, and Aline Giampietro all contributed to a topic that covered pedagogical concepts for beginner, intermediate, and advanced piano students. The conversation featured preparatory phrasing and rhythm for the beginner student, phrasing centering around harmonic analysis for intermediate and advanced students, and the use of improvisation as a tool in discovering the concept of phrasing for a student who is entirely a beginner.
