DESCRIPTION: The New Tampa Piano and Pedagogy Academy is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Piano Faculty member to join our team of dedicated educators and performers. We are looking for a passionate piano instructor committed to excellence in both teaching and performance and eager to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians. The ideal candidate will align with our curriculum-driven approach, which emphasizes concept-based instruction to foster proficiency and deep musical understanding in students. This position requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to engage effectively with students and parents, and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development. If you thrive in a collaborative, high-achieving environment and are eager to contribute to raising the national standard of pre-college piano education, we encourage you to apply to become part of our esteemed faculty.
ABOUT OUR ACADEMY: New Tampa Piano and Pedagogy Academy is one of the most prestigious pre-college piano academies in the United States—possibly the largest. Since our founding in 2011, we have been dedicated to raising the national standard of pre-college piano education by providing curriculum-driven instruction based on a structured, research-based progression of concepts and skills. Unlike casual lesson programs, our approach ensures that students receive a comprehensive, goal-oriented education that fosters both technical proficiency and deep musical understanding. Our faculty consists exclusively of highly qualified instructors holding Master’s or Doctorate degrees in piano, pedagogy, or related fields. Lessons are conducted on baby grand pianos—never electric keyboards—to maintain the highest professional standards. Students at our academy undergo annual in-house evaluations, participate in the internationally recognized Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examination system, and consistently win national and international competitions. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed specifically for serious music education, featuring a custom-built digital piano lab to support select group instruction components. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, we continue to set the benchmark for pre-college piano education in the United States.
