Arasay Lima

Arasay Lima is a distinguished pianist with over 25 years of experience in music teaching and performance. She graduated with honors from the National School of Arts in Cuba and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the University of the Arts (ISA). Further solidifying her expertise, she also completed the requirements for the prestigious Artist Diploma.
 
Ms. Lima’s international performance career spans multiple countries, including Cuba, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and Mali, where she participated in numerous festivals and recitals. As both a soloist and chamber musician, she has collaborated with various ensembles, including "Dúo Prognosis" (piano and violin), "Dúo Albatros" (piano and voice), "Dúo Karma" (piano and flute), and the "Audinos Mens Ensemble." She also performed at major contemporary music festivals as a member of the "Contemporary Cuban Ensemble." Additionally, she served as the pianist for the Villa Clara Symphony Orchestra, completing their national tour of Cuba in 2018.
 
Ms. Lima began her teaching career at the Olga Alonso Vocational Art School in Villa Clara, Cuba, where she later served as Head of the Piano Department. She was a founding member of the Samuel Feijoo Professional Art School, where she taught Piano, Harmony, and Pedagogy.
 
In Mali, Ms. Lima worked at the Balla Fasseke Kouyate Conservatory, where she contributed to the development of the institution’s music curriculum. Over the years, her dedication to teaching has led to the success of numerous students, many of whom have received top awards at prestigious piano competitions.
 
Ms. Lima remains committed to professional growth and lifelong learning. She actively participates in workshops and seminars to continue refining her expertise in the field.
